I just adopted a kitten that had gotten scratched on her eye. She had been taken to several vets and they said she has partial vision in the eye but she needs to see a specialist. I was wondering if there is anything I can do in the mean time?

Do they have her on an eye ointment (antibiotic) or antibiotic eye drops? I've never had a cat with a corneal scratch not be treated while waiting to get to our specialist apt?? Or do I mis-understand and this is a healed scratch, with the concern simply being what degree of vision she has left?
Make the apt. promptly, and if no one has prescribed meds, be sure to mention that on the phone to the specialist while making the apt., and ask if they would make a recomendation to your vet.
