With 11 days 2.5 hrs left on my job there just isn't enough work to fill an 8 hr day.
We have a closing schedule and have most of that stuff done. So really I only have about 3 hrs of "work" to do. I'm spending LOTs of time on this site, reading the news, looking at new recipes but I'm cannot stand this!!!
Too bad I cannot discretly read a book or a magazine & trust me the bosses aren't going to send us home!!!
Any ideas???

I'm feeling your pain, I'm really bored at work too, and I spent A LOT of time on this site during the day! Cranky customers keep me somewhat busy tho, although thats not the kind of busy I like!!

Is there something else you can do online, or on the computer so that you "look" busy, even though you're doing personal stuff? Aren't you the hosta queen
? Maybe put together a virtual gardening scrapbook or something of the sort? Or start your hosta shopping for next spring?

Or set yourself to learn some new software or something, like imaging software, or such if you're not already familiar with it.

I suppose playing a computer game is out of the question

Well if its something online!!! That could be possible -these desktops don't have the sound unless you plug in headphones.. (those would drown out the MUSAK!!)
