I was invited to say hi to all of you and introduce myself. I'm Dawn and my babies are Baby Girl and her three young-uns, Valory, Li'l Guy, and Kismet. When I first saw Baby Girl she was someone else's cat but I thought she was the prettiest creature I'd ever seen. My boyfriend (at the time) was cat sitting for his daughter's friend. When she hadn't showed up in a month or two to get her cat, and Smokey caught a cold while it was snowing outside (for several reasons I fully understand she wasn't living in the house) I snatched her up, took her to the vet, renamed her Baby Girl and nursed her back to health and called her mine. The best present I ever received. Those first two nights she slept on my side on the sofa. After that it was a year or so before she'd even sleep on my bed with me. You know cats. She had kittens about four months after I got her. By the time they were old enough to separate, I couldn't let any of them go. So now it's the five of us. What a wonderful experience!!!!
