Now remember, I'm 42, so I would think you'd have to be around my age to have had one of these dolls when you were a kid. Do you remember her???

she has a long hair that you can make shorter by a little crank in her back. Then there is a little button I think to push to let the hair back out again.......Awwww, childhood!

Not like that one, but i had one where you could alter their hair with a button at the back as well and it was called a "Tressy" doll, similar to a Sindy.

Anyone remember them?

I've never seen that doll before, but as soon as I clicked on this thread and saw that doll, it scared the mess out of me!

I had one but, as with many of my dolls, I ended up giving her a haircut.

I had a Chrissie (if it's the same one) She also had a long ponytail that would go in or out.... She was more life-sized. I also had a Chatty Cathy!
