Sutra is due today... nothing yet- but licking nipples

Hi guys, I am so excited, Sutra is due today!
She is looking really fat and has slowed down a bit, but not really looking like popping any time soon. She has been licking her nipples quite a bit more than usual though - is this a getting ready for action thing?
ps. Kharma my other cat (Sutra's mum) is also getting a bit cranky - i think it's jealousy!

Good luck. I know how hard waiting can be. Licking is a good sign but Dora did that for a while before she had her kittens.

The photo of your dora with her kittens looks very similar to my Kharma and the colourings of the kittens she had (Sutra being one of the darlings!) Is she a specific breed?

No I got her from the humane society. Everyone has told me though that she looks like a Russian Blue. Your 2 are beautiful. I just love gray cats. I can't wait to see the kittens.

Still waiting! Her nipples have milk in them today and she has slowed her eating down - cant be too much longer! I hope she has them tonight, because I have 2 full days coming up and will be busy until nearly midnight, so if she had them tonight at least I could make sure they are all okay!
