Hello, I have been finding stray cats homes all summer long, I have found homes for 5 this far. I have it down to a science and it always works out great. I also have 3 beautiful cats that I own.
Domino, Abby and Razz. I keep the strays that I find in a large bathroom and usually the only time my own cats see them is when we take them out to meet their new owners. I know this has nothing to do with my situation, I just wanted to give a little background.
This new kitten I found has a nursing obsession. I am guessing He is at least 12 weeks old. I know he is older than the other strays that I have found homes for. Anyway, He is able to easily eat solid food, drink his water and instantly knew how to use his litterbox (hurray!).. But he always wants to nurse. But only on human skin, I put a stuffed cat in there and one of those squishy pillows but he just sleeps on those. And even though I have tons of different toys he doesn't even seem interested in playing. Other than that he is a cute kitten that I know will be easy to find a home for. I just wish he would play sometimes. Thanks for listening.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Thank you for helping these precious babies!
Was your little separated from his cat mom at an early age? My little Serenity was abandoned very early in her life, and continues to nurse my lips, chin, earlobes, fingers, etc. as a comfort mechanism although she is 13 weeks old now. I feel this is so adorable! This is not uncommon for kittens in this situation.

I don't know when he was taken away from his mother because I found him in a ditch.
It probably is a comfort thing, but his claws really hurt when he kneads my arm. Oh well. Ha... Thanks for your advice. Cute cats by the way.

Bijou still wants to suckle my neck and he's 1 1/2 yrs. old. He also likes to knead my face and neck so I have to clip his claws at least once every 2 weeks or more often depending on how sharp they get.

The suckling seems to be his "comfort thing" as he immediately settles down to sleep after suckling.

Cassie is 3 1/2 now and still makes biscuits on my giant Winnie the Pooh bear...and my stuffed seal...and my stuffed manatee...I have lots of stuffed animals LOL. It's a sign of contentment so I'm happy that she does it all
