ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ok...(((deep breaths , deep breaths)))

So Poppy came into our lives much like Emmet did, she was unloved and mistreated......

She was a year and a half and had never seen the inside of a vets office, so she wasn't spayed either

If and when they fed her it was insignifficant amounts of really bad quality food.

When they werent yellng at her they were ignoring her to the point where she was peeing and pooing all over the house just so they would acknowlege her...

When I first met Poppy she was plainly underweight....her ribs could be seen even through her fluffy coat....and she was also incredibly small for a cat her age.....

She was sparadically jumpy like she was scared of something, and she was confined to a 3*3 square of urine soaked carpet, if she left this square she was hissed at by her owners.

So john and I did the best thing we could do. Like in the case of Emmet we went to Poppys (then her name was sierra, but we figured new life new name) owners and said "We can take this cat that you obviously care nothing about, or we can call the ASPCA and they can take the cat"....

Harsh action perhaps, but you have to do what you have to do....and like Emmets owners...Poppys owners were gald to be rid of her.........

And so we brought our precious Poppy Pepper home....she immidietly visited a vet was spayed and given a remarkable clean bill of health...Thank God. Other then the vets concern over her weight she was released back into john and I's loving arms

Since shes lived her....1 month...she has already started to gain some weight, she happy, friendly, and no longer urinated and defecates on the floor...

Ok Back to the anger

I just found out that Poppys owner just got......are you ready for this.....a 4 month old kitten.......even better this kitten has a Hernia........
What???????????????????

They couldnt takecare of, take the time to feed, love, clean, spay a healthy cat......but now they have a defensless 4 month old kitten with a health problem in there hands........

OMG OMG OMG.........I am thinking I may call animal rescue tommorw....but if there is no sign of immediete abuse, will they still take her......I dont know what to do....I just know that I am the angriest i have been in soooooo long
and I feel completly helpless.....but probably not as helpless as that sweet kitten, who is obviously in need of medical attension.

Please tell me what to do......or please at least send prayers that this sweet kit makes it out ok.......

This is my fault I should have called aspca when i saw how they treated Poppy...at least there would have been a record on them....But silly me just thought it would be less stressful on poor Poppy if we just took her...I would never have imagined that these people would have gotten another cat

Sorry for the rant...but i am more sorry for that poor kitten, and all the other little kits who have
for owners......

blech. Some people really should own animals.

I'd be calling the SPCAs and such, get that poor little baby out of their care.

Hope everything turns out okay <3

I just don't understand why people like that want a cat?? Are they thinking that Poppy's behaviour had nothing to do with how they treated her, and that a new kitten will love and adore them regardless of how they treat it??

Really, I just don't get it. And it makes me incredibly sad that people like that exist.

well one thing Bridget, if you have the medical records on Poppy's condtion, and/or photos of her from the time you rescued her from their house, the ASPCA may find that as enough reasonable doubt to seize their new kitten.
