So, I had a rude awakening this morning. I was lying in bed, and apparently me blinking triggered the hunter in Rowan, and he ended up actually scratching my eye.

He's gone for my eyelids before, and he got my cheek twice, although not bad at all, but this hurt. I was afraid of actually losing my vision (and the eye he didn't scratch has only about 20% vision, so that would have been devistating), although the doc says that I'll be fine.

I've been saying NO when he goes after my hands and face, but what else can I do? There is no possible way to banish him from the bedroom at night.

Chloe did this for awhile too the first few months after she came home with me. Although she never scratched my eye! *ouch!* She outgrew it and doesnt do it anymore. I can even bat my eyes at her while in her face and she doesnt respond. Chloe was just a few months old. It was just a kitten thing because she attacked everything that moved(and some things that didnt
). How old is he?

He's maybe 9 weeks old.

I do hope that it's just a kitten thing. That'd be grand.
