Hi there - Early this year I became the somewhat reluctant owner of an 8 year old Siamese girl, who really really needed a new home. Of course over the months, I've fallen totally in love with her. (How do they do that!!). Recently she's had a few problems with food and sloppy stools, and her behaviour deteriorated, so I was really worried. Happily the problem is solved and she's much happier again, but I discovered during this time that cat forums are fantastic. Even if you don't get a solution, its really comforting to know that so many other people experience similiar things, and I love the mad cat stories. This site is awesome! My cat's name is Tikira or Tiki for short. One day I'll feel brave enough to put a post a picture. Have a beautiful day

Hi everyone - Thank you all so much for your lovely warm welcomes. I'm at work at the moment, and I'm supposed to be working but all I want to do is stay on the site and hang out with my new friends and read about cats. I don't know but I think I'm going through a phase at the moment cos all I want to do is read/talk about cats. But I'm sure you guys understand. (Not everyone does) Yayi - thanks for sending the courage vibes. Hopefully I will show my girl off soon. However I'm still trying to figure out if I'm even replying correctly. Doh. You've all got such beautiful furry families. Every cat is sooo beautiful My favourites are Bijou and Mika - mainly cos Tiki looks like them (although I don't think as dark). What gorgeous eyes they have!
