So I don't really consider this a behaviour thing, or a health issue, but it's just sweet and I had to share.

As you all know I've been sharing my life with three little fuzzy babies... and we all know how eccentric these kitties can be. I thought that we were a happy little family and all was righ with the world, and don't worry it still is.

In fact, it's better!

Paige loves me. I know she's always been happy to have us as her humans, but I mean she really loves me! I couldn't sleep this weekend, and i went to take a bath, and she sat in the bathroom the entire time I was in the tub, fixated over whether I was going to be okay!. And she meows (well it's sort of a meow, she can't meow and make an actual meowing noise, her vocal chords were damaged by a previous owner) only for me and when I'm in the kitchen feeding her, she cuddles me after the foods out and will do so for 5 minutes!

She lets me carry her! She doesn't let her daddy do so for extended periods of time, but if I pick her up, she snuggles onto my chest and chills.

she really loves me, and has claimed me as HER human, and hers alone! but she's willing to share with gibby... and sometimes Molly!

I feel a special bond with my Piggy Puffybuns

So when did you really know that your babies LOOOOOVED you!?

A previous owner damaged your kitty's vocal cords???
How did it happen?????????

As far as my kitty loves -
Oliver makes a little chirp sound in the middle of the night that means "wake up Mommy, I want to cuddle next to your tummy."

Tripod starting purring the day we found him the moment I touched him. He still purrs as soon as I touch him.

one of the times i moved, after everyone was gone, i couldn't find Medley (my first cat, a tortoiseshell). i looked everywhere, i called her, etc - nothing. i was sure she had gotten out somehow, & i just lost it. cried, cried.... next thing i knew, there she was, meowing at me as if to say, "what's wrong?"
i've done this since when i couldn't find a furbaby - works great, altho it is tiring! they get very concerned about me when i'm upset. i can be talking on the phone to my mom about something i'm upset about, & they practically knock the phone out of my hand with all the head-bumping!

I'm not sure if this is love or jealousy, but I knew Petals loved me when she bopped Bailey on the head to get out of my lap, then she proceeded to climb up and make herself at home there......purring her little heart out and headbutting my cheek with her face............

Paige was thrown through a screen door, head first before second chance got to her. she didn't meow at all for the first year we had her, and only now and only for me does she try. she sounds like a pethetic little monkey, which is so sweet.. it's sort of a very quiet oo..oo!

I know Reilly loves me because when I'm sad or sick he will sit by my side all day long.

What a sweet thread!

I know Trent loves me when I'm sitting on the couch and he jumps up on my lap and insists on being held like a baby, with one arm supporting him and hand scritching his back and the other hand on his tummy. He purrs SO loud, but pretty soon the purrs get quieter and quieter and he's asleep. Talk about total trust!

Even though I really don't spend much time with my senior OX he knows when I'm down-like when Sheba was 1st missing and then the aftereffects he "knew" and slept by me on the bed-he NEVER is on the bed. Or last yr when I had to 1st make the decision about Tommie leg and then later when I had Tommie put down a couple of months later-he slept by my side!!

The day Elliot got up on my bed and slept beside me for the first time... and... the day Aerowyn finally gave up and let me start giving her kisses.

She used to be such a little kissy face when she was a baby! She would put her face up for it.. but I guess maybe she got scared once so she doesnt do it now (though I torture them and kiss them CONSTANTLY)

And Eli has never been a lovey cat. He will let you pick him up and hold him, but he wont sit in your lap, he doesnt like to be held when you are standing up and not moving for long periods of time, and of course he never even stepped on my bed (its a waterbed and he doesn tlike it for somereason though it doesnt bother Ari)
So yep.

And they both talk a lot too but thats something different.

edit: And also they way they always are both looking at my face for me to give them a yawn or a blink or a wink. :p That's cute too.
