Is there a list of household cleaning products that are known to be 100% safe around animals? I read the thread about Febreeze and this is actually the 2nd product I have been using that I found out isn't good after all. I would just like to see a safe list of products so I know what I can use.

check Seventh Generation they have an all purpose cleaner that i really like. i tried the dishwasher detergent powder but it didn't clean as well as cascade. also, i have the kitchen cleaner (which is VERY citrus scented) for those who use citrus spray as a deterrent. i don't use it much, i tend to just use a washcloth and soapy water more often.

also, i use vinegar & water to wash my linoleum areas. you kind of have to get used to the smell, but i don't have to worry if the guys walk across it before it's completely dry. (lol, i also have an apartment with VERY small linoleum areas)

I have heard of those products but could not find a place near me that sells them. What about the Method products? I think those are all natural, are they safe?

i just checked their site, and it appears their stuff is non-toxic. here's the link. Method Cleaning Products i may have to check out their cleaning wipes next time i buy. i use the target brand wipes for when nabu pees on the back of the box, so maybe the method ones would be better.

I use the Method all-purpose spray cleaner in Grapefruit - it works great!
Works much better/faster than Fantastic.

Weird about the Febreeze - their commercials advertise it as 'safe for dogs and cats too"

I bought the Method wipes last week and those things are great
They are so perfect for wiping the bathroom sinks and counters down during the week. I "scrub" the bathroom on the weekends.
Yesterday I went out and bought the Method floor cleaner, glass & surface cleaner and the all purpose cleaner for the bathroom. I really wanted to get the daily shower spray but they were out. I plan to give everything a try when I clean the house tomorrow.
