I hate to ask, but can I get a few 'courage vibes'? I have to give a talk in my church next Sunday, and I'm scared out of my mind! I've only done it once before. This time's topic: 'Why not to gossip'. The worst part is I'm a bit of a gossip!

Good luck! Try to look at the audience (you don't actually have to make eye contact if you're too nervous to, though it would make a better impression). If you're afraid of your mouth getting too dry, stick a little wad of paper in the side of your mouth - that'll keep the saliva flowing.

Well, it's over with now! I was quite nervous, so I think I talked a little to fast. But everyone else said I did well. i'm just glad to have it over and out of the way.

Glad to know that it went well! I am so shy, I hate to speak in front of an audience. And I usu. think that I spoke to rapidly, or loudly or shakily, and people will tell me I wasn't that way at all, so likely you did great! Good job on working through your dread!!
