Hello again, just thought I'd share that I am taking my cat to the vet next wed to get her checked... I'm still not positive that sozo/ my cat is pregnant... her nipples are enlarged but I dont really feel a big belly on her.... For those of you that read my last post... "pregnant runt cat who hasn't had her shots" < or something along those lines.... I'm not so sure she is a runt anymore.. but rather just a small cat... but anyways I have another question for you guys.... My cat has VERY stinky poo... and I don't know if this is a common thing with pregnancy.. she has never had this problem before.. but I was curious to know if there is a reason behind it? Or maybe she is having stomach problems or something?? She is eating way more food than she has ever eaten.. and she is way more cuddly than she has ever been.. so I am almost convinced she is pregnant! But the smell is almost unbearable.... Her litter box is in my room, so I have to have scented candles burning all the time.. and even those dont cover up the smell entirely!! I know this sounds funny.. but I'm just worried if she has stomach problems or something? Anyways thanks for taking the time to read this

Take care

Roxy

Ps here's some more pix of sozo.. let me know if you guys think she is a runt or just a small cat

Have you changed her diet? I might be mistaken, but I don't ever remember pooh becoming extremely stinky during pregnancy, every kitty's different though.

I don't think they can vaccinate her though while pregnant, my old boss was against it, but I'm sure some vets will do it. If she's not pregnant, will she get spayed in the upcoming weeks? I'm not trying to pick on you, but I was a shelter worker too and I've seen so many unplanned kittens die which tears out my heart.

I would recommend taking a stool (poop) sample with you to the vet. When Garfield had distemper, he had a very smelly poo. And distemper during pregnancy is dangerous. Much better to take a sample to the vet so they can check it out.

Well I took her to the vet, and so she is PREGNANT, but the vet says he can only feel one kitten!!! And he gave her her shots and a deworming pill. After a month or so of giving birth I'm going to take her to get fixed! So thanks everyone for the help! I'll post some pictures up of the kitty when he or she is born!! AHhhh I'm so excited!

Thanks for the update....remember to keep your cat indoors through her pregnancy and until she is spayed.

The vet that saw Sozo today... he did give her a shot.... should I be worried? Why was your boss against it?
