We just got word that dh's deployment was bumped up and its too soon if you ask my opinion. Then again... going at all is too soon.

Meish has a vet appointment this week (I think her ear infection is back...) and Angel has her spay this week too. It is going to be a long week. Not to mention my mom and step dad are coming as well...

Send me some strength TCSers.

Thanks!

My baby cousin is also being deplpyed from Ft Campbell this month - I suspect he and your hubby are going together! (His wife. a nurse, was also supposed to go, but it was decided nurses had to have at least a year's training at the hospital. )

I havn't talked to my aunt recently. Guess Mom will have to give her a call.

Jan, I'd be interested to hear where your cousins wife works! I work in the hospital too... but as a GS employee. Is his wife enlisted as well?

Just about all the soldiers are deploying this month... 1st, 2nd and 3rd leave this month then 4th leaves in November.

This post is going to be deserted!

I hate the politicians who decided to go to war and got everyone into this mess, but I really admire and feel for all the troops and humanitarian people out there who are doing such a difficult job. Good vibes coming your way.

I'm not sure exactly where Lt. April Z. is working. She may be making the rounds to different departments to get her experience. Like I said, have to give auntie a call.

For some reason, I seem to have it in my head that cousin will be with the helicoptors. then Again, I may be hallucinating.
Anyway, being 6'8", our advice was to keep his head down and but even lower.

Sending vibes for continued strength Beth. I'm sure Ft. Campbell has a waiting spouses group. You can get continued support through other people with deployed spouses there

I hope Meish's ear is OK and that Angel's spay goes off without a hitch!

Okay, Beth! Sis talked to baby cousin the other night and he has just returned from the coast where he (and others) have been overseeing the loading of equipment onto a ship. His group is the one who will tow in disabled vehicles and repair them, or salvage what is left (I shudder thinking what could happen). Then, in early October, he is heading over to do the set up for the unit.

Sis asked if there was going to be a send off and when was it. She and my niece and others would take the time and make the effort to see him off. BUT - he and the others are leaving ahead of the rest of the group and so no send off he will be participating in.
