I just discarded a group of so called "long time friends"....I just realized afterso long of not having a friend to rely on, to confide in, to go to in my timeof need.....yet the minute something goes wrong it "Lets call bridget and dump everything on her". I didnt have it in me anymore to be thier crutches, and not have them to fall back down upon...I was tired....and decided i am done with them and thier selfishness.....

Now they think I am the biggest B**** in the world....but you know what Iam happy now.......Friends do at times drift apart its not your fault, and no one is denying that you dont love thm dearly...I love this group dearly...But at somepoint you have to say...."I am my own good friend...and i have neglected that friendship way too long"

@ Nebula You will find real friends. Let me tell you something, if you want. In my lifetime I had so many so called "friends". Recently, they have been parasites, I apologise for this hard word. But, it takes a long time, to find it out an it hurts.

I recently read an article called "Psychic Vampires" that just suck the energy out of other people, and that suits both of them to a T. I have my 2 best friends in the world right here in the house with me now, (my s/o and our friend tht came up for the hurricane) and that is all I need for now. Once I get over having had those 2 girls in my life, I might consider some new friends. Of course there are my furbabies!

Rebecca - after getting in trouble with the law with the self defense, I would not take any chances with them, I would hate to see you getting into trouble by some P.O.S "friends" But I do like that you are going to do something about it and I wsh you all the best! I got rid of some so called friends - psychic vampires like you said. And I am better off without them!

You are completly right...... ...but we get over it......and until then i have john and the kits and they are more then i will ever need....

I don't know if the whole court thing has passed yet, but if not, can you tell her lawyer that there's no way you can be a good character witness for her, and be honest at the same time? That's wht I would try doing. Tell the lawyer that you just can't be honest and present her as a good person, give him examples of why, and tell him that you don't want to be associated with her in any way.

It turned out that I was not needed in court, and the paper expires at midnight. They can keep their little drama. When they go back again, and I know they will, I doubt they will be asking me to testify. She called me today and I said a few things that had been on my mind. I was not mean about it, but I let her know how I felt. I stressed to her that I would not lie to, for, or about anyone. She seemed to think that I was going to say whatever she wanted me to. She was supposed to come over tonight and tell me what happened, but of couse she didn't come. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!
