dose that mean she could have kittens on the way?and if so how long will it take?and one off the male cats is her dad and the other is her brother will the kittens be ok.
my cat is 7 months old will she be ok to have kittens

This may sound cruel but I think since she is so young, since the father of the kittens may be a close relative and she is only just pregnant, that you should phone round and find a vet who will spay her at once. It would be best for her future health and would avoid any possible problems with the kittens. Inbreeding does not necessarily cause problems, but there is more risk. Is she a feral or can you catch her. You say she is 'your cat'. Please think of her in this.

Hello I dont have any answers for you but your post brought up a question for me.

When can a "kitten" become pregant? When are they old enough? Thanks
The funny sound and bringing up food........hairball???

a kitten can become pregnant as soon as they start coming into heat (bit like humans), and this can be as young as 4 months - it would be the equivalent of a 12 year old girl having a baby - their body might be ready, but mentally they aren't. This is why it is so important to get them spayed, especially as at 4 months old, some kittens are still quite small.

You are putting your cat at risk for a disease because she is mating with street cats, and she can get a disease from that. Having inbred kittens is not good either.
Please spay the cat before it's too late.

Kirsty...There is a good chance she is pregnant...but no one on this board can say for sure. Please read this thread regarding pregnancy and delivery:

http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46743

Given her young age and the fact that she has mated with several males...I would highly recommend that you consider having her spayed. Mating with multiple males outdoors can expose your girl to diseases such as FIV and FELV. You must also be prepared that given her young age, she may have difficulty with delivery which could put her life and the life of any unborn kittens at risk (which could require emergency vet intervention). Are you prepared to cover those costs?

As for her throwing up...I would suggest taking her to your local vet. She may be pregnant..or she could be sick from something else. Best for her to be checked.

Kirsty,

My cat, CJ, was about that age when she got pregnant, by her littermate, Billy. Soon, she gave birth to three adorable kittens. With one of them, we noticed right away something was wrong with her. She went to the vet at 4 days old, but her brother, who seemed the healthiest, died at two days of age. We were told that the one that seemed bad wouldn't make it past three weeks old. She did, and was diagnosed with a vestibular disease. That kitty is Annie. Annie is okay. We recently lost our dearly loved baby kitty, Belle, on Thursday, do to something unknown, just one day before she turned 5 months old. We are thinking maybe a brain tumor, but we aren't sure. Annie, the one we thought would die, is the only survivor out of her litter. It was, and still is, extremely hard to get attached to those kittens, like we all were to Belle, and loose them so suddenly. I hope that you are prepared to love, care for, and maybe even loose your kittens. I hope all does go well, but you need to be prepared.... especially with inbreeding.

Best wishes,

Cassie
