You think I would have the hang of this by now...I have two adult cats that were once stray kittens. I just left the movie theater a little while ago and I heard a tiny meow. It was a baby kitten. Of course I have a big heart and I couldn't leave it!!!!! I am freaking out because it is sooo thin and he won't eat the kitten food!!! It's 12:31 AM and pet stores are CLOSED....need help!! Please any suggestions???? Kitten is soo thin I'm scared he is going to die. I think he is old enough to eat food. Help!!

Is the kitten eating anything on its own, or is it a bottle baby? www.kitten-rescue.com will help you. Ingredients for Kitten Glop is there and you can buy the stuff at any grocery store. Most grocery stores now also carry KMR in their pet sections if they are large chain grocery stores- If there is a Wal-Mart super center near you, they carry it as well- if it is a bottle baby, worse case scenario you can use evaporated milk, or goat's milk watered down-

for the baby food, I heated up the jar in warm water and scooped it onto a plate for ares..if he wont eat it that way you will need a small syringe

If he is reluctant to eat (and some cats are after they have been starving)you can get a twenty ml syringe (without needle of course) and you can beat an egg yolk into some goat milk or water and give him that by popping the end into the side of his mouth and squeezing gently, a little at a time. That is really good nourishment and tasty for cats. Good luck with him. Having just been in the same siuation myself with two starving kittens, I know how you feel.

I got the baby chicken food and he ate it up. I also got some Cat Milk by Wiskas but he didn't drink it. He has drank a lot of water and ate a lot of baby food.
Thanks guys, I am going to go to bed now. I will keep you informed.

Heh, no I can't keep him. I already have two cats and a dog. I have a question. The kitten felt like he had little bumps all over him and I noticed these little black bugs on my pants. They are really tiny, but too big for fleas and I don't think they are ticks. They look like little dots and they crawl very slowly. Any ideas what this is??

I didn't buy him any canned food. He ate more of the chicken baby food this morning. We found a place for him that will take care of him. They have a vet that comes out and he will get his shots and a checkup. He is in good hands now. After he is fat and healthy, they will adopt him to a good family.
I miss the little guy though.

Me too! I don't know what I would have done. I went to the grocery store and bought everything I saw for him.
