Odd question, unsure where to post it really

Anyone here have or has had an older tortoiseshell, preferably longhair?

I was wondering if it was common for the rich, ginger redtones to go pale red/cream with age?

My NFC was always dark chocolate brown and rich, red/ginger, at 11 years old now, she's cocolate and red/cream.

I don't recall ever having seen a faded out tortie (except those that were dilute to begin with).

LOL well now I feel better, was begining to think something was missing from her diet

Every little thing sets me to worrying with my 'over the hill' cats.
Shadow's backbone is slightly prominant, was worried he was sick, he's only 7.
Nope, said it's probably just the heat and he'll fatten back up in the fall.
