Feline acne

Can anyone tell me what feline acne looks like? I have just noticed some black specks round Pebbles mouth. What is confusing is that she will only eat off a saucer - am presuming it is some kind of china, cos it is a human one and not a cat one. She also has a melamine bowl for her biscuits and a ceramicy thing for her water.

Sounds like feline acne to me. The cats will drag their chins in their food and then bacteria builds up. You can use a diluted hydrogen peroxide and warm water solution and gently scrub the chin several times a day.

Once you get it cleared up, cleaning the chin periodically will prevent recurrance.

Definitely doesn't look like the first pic. Can't quite work out the second pic. She is up to be weighed at the end of the month, might get the vet nurse to look then.
