I was observing today that since The Hurricane, people have been kinder than normal. I've observed that people are more giving in every day life and are more sensitive.
The good in the disaster is that it made us all aware of how fragile life is, and how everyone is connected on some level, as well as how important it is to come together as Americans, or Europeans, or Africans, or Asians, or Australians ---or just plain humans, and GIVE.

I found a home for an abused dog on my street today. She has been left outside for 5 years on a chain. The wealthy family that will take her may not have bothered under more normal times....I wonder.... what does everyone think? What have you noticed yourself??

I know I noticed that change for the good in people after Sept 11th as well...it's just very sad that it takes a horrible tragedy to make us appreciate eachother.

i agree with miss mew ever since 9/11 there are so many people out there that do care and are out there to help one another when times are hard i think someone is trying to tell us something for all of us to become one and love one another and always be there to lend a hand or a ear and a shoulder to cry on

-nods- I have to agree with you. Even though i am not American and don't live in the States, there was a difference all over practically.
