then & now

I started thinking about how it's less than a month until Milo's 1st birthday and how much he's grown since I got him. So I wanted to do a then & now thread. Post a kitten pic (or a pic from when you first got them) and a current pic for each of your kitties.

I'll start off:
This is little baby Pixie

They sure have grown into 2 beautiful cats

This is Minnie, one of our Queens, born, raised and loved in our home. Here she is at about 7 weeks old. Does she look bossy? Well she is....boy let me tell you.



Here is a more recent picture of her...all grown up. Still bossy as ever..refusing to look at the camera.

Here are some pictures from the Safari scrapbook I made a few weeks ago. They will give you an idea of how he looked as a baby compared to how he looks now!

Here's Chloe at about 8 weeks old:


Here she is now at 10 months old, still trying to fit on the desk while I work:


We adopted Iris at 6 months, so I don't have super young ones of her. I do have some from when she was rescued and slightly emaciated at 5 months of age:


Here she is now at approximately 10 months old, with a bit more meat on her. (And yep, her eyes are two different colors.)

I love the way Chloe is still hanging out in the same spot!

Max and Alfie have just turned 4 months old, so I'll update this thread in about 8 months!

Awww, these are such great pictures!!! I know some more of you have kitten to adult pics. So let's see them!!!

Have to mention Bob & Allie's story along with their pic's. They are siblings and although I have a crew of "6" here, these 2 are my special miracle babies. I found them last March on a 30 degree morning, born from a feral colony I care for & only hours old...cords still attached, etc. They developed everything from rashes, URI's, diarrhea, loss of fur and even had convulsions that shook them off their feet...both were born premature & there was a strong possiblity of brain damage. I was so determined to keep these 2 from crossing "the rainbow bridge"!! Weeks of bottle-feeding every 2-hrs., ointments, creams, antibiotics, maylar blankets, little sleep, lots of tears and tons of prayer. But...take a look at these 2 beauties...they have come so far...

Aww they've both turned into beautiful & healthy looking cats!!

I love this thread, and I had to join in! It's almost perfect timing too, Lucky is about 2 weeks away from her first birthday!! I found Lucky when she was about 4 weeks old and had just narrowly missed being hit by a car! She was a little shivering ball of fur with the biggest set of vocal cords i've ever heard!

She's actually not much bigger then the old photos since she's quite petite. The first night we got her though she just fit in daddys hand and fell asleep.
