I was given two kittens of 3 weeks old yesterday, they were found in a box in the back of the next doors house(people just moved in that day), a little girl came to me holding two very little kittens. She told me they found them in the back yard in a box and that they were told the owner chased off the mother and placed the kittens in a box! The mother came back for 2 and now I have the others. The little girl said she could care for them but i told her I could do a better job since my mama cat still had milk(she was wanting to feed them with human milk and let them drink from a bowl or bottle). Last night I found the mom but she wouldnt take the kittens so I had to take them back in and warm them up.

Ok I would like to know how can I care for them? I have bought bottles and kitten formula. They wont take it to well, i been tryn to keep them warm, but I can't feed them every 4 hours as it says on the formula, They still need to be made go potty. Thye have their eyes open and can walk a bit wobbly.

I cant belive the owner of the house would force the mom to run off and leave her babies.

Dear god they're sinfully adorable. Do you have a mother cat with milk that will take them in?

Those are probably not the kittens. You need to feed them every four hours, if you can't then you need to find someone who will. In the meantime read www.kitten-rescue.com to give you ideas on how to care for these two kittens.

THanks guys. The little girl came back wanting the kittens back but I had to lie and say I dont have them no more. She knows nothing about kittens or care and the mother had told me last night she wasnt sure of wanting the cats since 2 of her kids are allergic. Get this the little girl said they made a vet app. for today(its saturday and vet is closed here and wont answer the phone or be at the office at all on weekends) so caught in a lie twice. Im going to call vets and shelters to see if anyone will take them.

The girl said all the kittens needed was a bowl of milk and that was all. I had to hold back on going off on her.

Last week I was able to get the kittens to a shelter for care. I had to make a donation just for them to keep the kittens. A vet Tech. was going to see why they couldnt go poopy. At least I know they are being fed and kept warmed and in constant loving care. Im going to call about them later on to see how they are doing.
