I'm trying to pay bills at the desk this morning, and this is what I get....a flying fuzzball sliding across all the papers, swatting at my pen, rolling over and staring at me upside down on the keyboard, grabbing my hair and the list goes on! Not that I mind the intervention, paying bills is about as exciting as watching corn grow, but it took me forever to get it done! Silly Sophie, she's just trying to make my chores more interesting, I guess!

Haha, you're not alone.... except Oliver decides to do it when all my papers and books are spread out to study for exams! I can just hear myself "Professor, I can't take the exam today because my cat destroyed my note and I couldn't study...." He used to love to roll on my keyboard and IM random people, but now the keyboard is on a little drawer, so he just lays on the desk....

Harley is the same way! I can never get the dishes done OR the sweeping or mopping b/c he is trying to get into the dishwasher, or launching himself at my pile of dust and dirt on the floor! I swear I have to start over about 10 times before I finally distract him with something more interesting than dirt!
I never get too mad, I just look at him covered in all that stuff and laugh at him, he'll never learn!

I think its cute when they try to "help" mommy with the cleaning. One likes to try to eat the broom, one thinks the vacuum wants to play, one re-dusts everthing I'm dusting (exchanging fur for the dust), and one likes to help scrub the toilet by hanging on to the brush handle. That one proceeds to get in to check just to make sure we didn't miss anything...After I flush of course.

I wish my kids were as interested in housekeeping as my furbabies are...maybe more would get done around here.

It's so funny to read all of these!! I think most of all because I've had cats that loved each of these things!

Funny...when I stop and think about it, our new little kitties haven't tried any of that...I guess they have more fun with each other than with my cleaning.

My kitties just LOVE when I come home with groceries! Nothing more exciting than jumping in all the bags and making them krinkle!

Making up the bed. I can NOT get this done without "help!" Mithril is the dedicated bed maker-upper, as soon as he hears sheets being moved around he comes running! I've become expert at making up the bed around him

I've gotten to where I make Sophie into the bed!
She loves it, getting all tucked in under the sheets. Once the bed is made, she wriggles out and jumps down.

She also does the grocery bag game. I just came home from the store today and had to wrestle her while putting things away. She loves to hide under the bags and grab my hand as I reach in to get something. Never a dull moment here!
