Two precious little ones

We learned last night about two kittens, one orange, one black, that were tortured and killed by a boy in a local neighborhood. I laid awake for a long time last night thinking about the pain and fright these two precious babies must have experienced.

I'm so sorry for what you endured at human hands, little ones and hope somehow you know that there are people that cared about you and will seek justice on your behalf. I pray now that you are happy and know nothing but peace and love in a far better place. RIP little sweet babies.

I am very sorry that those kittens suffered so.

As a psych nurse, I can tell you that a child who harms animals is a very disturbed individual. I hope that boy gets some mandetory treatment for his problems, and if he cannot be rehabilitated, that he is locked away forever for the protection of other innocent lives.

I am sad for both the kitties, and the boy. It is a terrible thing to have such evil in his heart...he is probably beyond help already.

What a horrible, horrible fate for those two precious babies!!! I pray that your reward in Heaven is great, little kitty-martyrs. And I am sad that the boy has turned out to be such a waste of humanity - how much better for everyone if he had been a compassionate, caring human being - he could have been a veterinarian, a teacher, oh, so many wonderful things...3 lives wasted....so sad..

I'm really struggling with this you guys, especially after meeting the kittens' two siblings. We were able to get ahold them yesterday and they are now in foster care. They're so tiny, probably not more than six weeks old, loving and friendly. I just can't comprehend how someone could harm such tiny, trusting creatures. I want justice for them in the worst way. I want to go the neighborhood where this happened, find the kid responsible and just rip into him. I know, not a smart idea. We need to let the SPCA handle it, but they don't take these cases very seriously. I just can't get the image of what he did to them off my mind. Thanks for listening.

I just learned the details of how these two little ones died. I'll spare you guys that. This just isn't right and I've had enough.

Ugh! The SPCA has found the boy responsible for this right? I hope he gets his just desserts. Somehow though, I don't think the punishment will be that severe... No punishment is going to be severe enough IMO... this is utterly disgusting behaviour.

How are the other 2 kits doing?? I hope they're well... and that they'll grow up to be healthy happy bouncy individuals and go to loving homes ... stupid humans

Unfortunately this kind of thing happens regularly in the world. There have to be enough good people to make it stop. I don't think there are enough good people right now, but maybe with education humans might someday learn.

I second this... RIP little ones no one will hurt you again

OMG. Unbelievable that someone could be hateful enough to not just kill, but torture, two of the most innocent creatures God ever made. And what did this kid achieve by doing this? Some kind of sick satisfaction--some kind of kicks? He should be shut away where he can never interact with society again--it could be a child victim next time. It's horrifying to imagine what these two little innocents went through when they should have been loving life, happy and playing with each other, and safe from any kind of harm. No victim was ever more innocent than these two little ones. The only consolation is that these sweet babies are now in a wonderful place where no one will ever again frighten or hurt them--they will forever be happy and healthy and they will know only everlasting love and peace. Be happy, little black kitten ; be happy, little orange kitten . Play together joyfully, and with all the other kitties over the Rainbow Bridge, and know that not even the memory of suffering will remain to marr your perfect happiness. RIP, you two sweet babies There are human beings who love you and will never forget you, and who will seek justice for you. Be happy, our little ones.

The other two kittens, both little boys, are doing fine and are safe in foster care. They're incredibly sweet and cute. From what we've been told, an adult came upon the scene and rescued them before they suffered the same fate as their siblings.

Awwww... thank God they're safe!! I'm so glad... but what a senseless death their siblings suffered
