If we were talking about humans, I'd say you are in an abusive relationship. With cats....it's just what we must learn to expect

I don't feel controlled by my cats. But I did cook a special burger on the grill for Will tonight (my avatar kitty). And Festus has been kind of cranky lately due to Sugartoes. Today she let my 9 year old daughter kiss her face, and even purred. I feel as happy as I did after a fun date with my husband last night.

Maybe my cats brainwash me, then control me.
So I just happily go along.

That's the funniest thread I've read in a long time!!

I never thought about my 4 cats that way. . . . hairy terrorists trying to control my every move! I surely can relate though. . . . I can't even get a good night's sleep - the littlest terror (Bella) wants to eat all the time (worse than having a newborn in the house!!). And as I type this, Molly is at my feet, giving me her pathetic little cry to go out. Sigh. I too am controlled.

Antares ,I love the way you put things!

This morning my boyfriend told me he wanted to sleep in. So I told him I would sleep on the couch last night so the cats didn't scratch the door or come walking all over the bed to wake me up!

Of course the cats are in control - they are superior beings - remember we used to worship them back in ancient times AND they have NEVER forgotten this.

But we love them anyway

Cable will sit on my lap, & move her head so i'm looking at her, not the TV. if i move my head to see around her, she moves hers again.
usually she does this when she thinks it's wet food time.
