Bradley went to Sea School in April and took & passed the captain's test. He got a certificate at that time, but it was not official until he received his actual captain's license. Well, THAT got held up in Washington D.C. because he has Type 1 Diabetes and it had to go before some medical board. Well, after waiting FAR too long, we called our local Congressman (who is fabulous!) and he got on the horn.
And today, ladies and gents, I am proud to announce that Bradley's captain's license has officially arrived! No more working as a mate on the boats- he's taking out trips of his own now! Woo hoo!

We're so excited!

I guess now that he's Captain Stewart, does that make me Tenille?

Woooo hoooooo! Way to go Bradley! You must be so proud, Amy! Does he get a cool hat now? Seriously, that's something to be proud of--are you taking him out for a special evening???

Can I plead the 5th on that one??

Thanks for the congrats everyone! I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of him. This has been his dream since he's been a kid and now it's coming true. He finished college, got his captain's license, and now the sky's the limit! Hopefully this'll be the catalyst to other things (*cough cough* RING *cough) as well.

Again, thanks for the congrats y'all. I love this TCS family!

This may be true! Maybe he had to achieve this goal before he felt he could move on?

Congratulations to him!!!

That's what my mom said right after I told her the good news
Yeah, she's as eager for him to propose as I am, lol.

Thanks for the congrats, it means a lot to both of us

How awesome for him, Amy!!!

But yes, I also want to know if he gets a cool hat?
And will he wear it everywhere?

Is this to do with his job or is this a side gig thing?

Actually, after posting my question, it occurred to me Bradley should be doing the "saluting"...

Sorry, I am feeling silly.
And Congrats to Bradley!

Congratulations to Bradley!
That's quite an accomplishment!
I hope this leads to what you're hoping for, Amy.
