I was just wondering....What do your cats fear??

Emmet is afraid of Women he doesn't know, moving, and cat boxes

Mabby is afraid of the vacuum

Poppy is afraid of Mabby

and Doofus is afraid of "The Shining" the movie...I'm not joking...When the movies on and the music is playing he either runs in terror...or tries to bury himself in my lap......

Scooter is fearless.
Pearl is afraid of everything and mostly everybody. She is getting a little better, though.
Pepper is afraid of the vaccuum, knocks on the door, and strangers.

Snickers fears nothing and no one. Never have I known a more laid-back, congenial cat in my life. I had to warn my daughter last night as she ran the sweeper in the family room, to "watch out for Snickers tail!". Snickers tail is like a mile thick and well, even with the Oreck bearing down on him? He just lays there all relaxed and comfy and half-asleep.

Hammie is also fearless most of the time; however if something is on the floor that wasn't there before (like, a sock or a straw?)... if he did NOT put it there... then it is an alien to him! And he has to approach very carefully. All ya have to do is go PSSST! really loud and he will jump a vertical mile.

The rest of the cats fear the Oreck. I'll admit I fear it too, but that's cuz I just don't like to use the dang thing anymore.

Gibby is afraid of my mom, Molly is afraid of being loved, and Paige is.. well nothing phases Paige at all, really, except being rolled onto her back and given "kitten aboos!" (meaning a good scritch on the tum, where she baps me and we growl at eachother, and then chase eachother around the apartment)

Sancha isn't afraid of anything. She even LIKES going to the vet. She cuddles with all the technicians and tries to climb into the drawers and cabinets when they open them, 'cause she loves to explore. Obi is her opposite. He's afraid of anything unfamiliar. I rescued him from the street as a 6 mo old, so I figure he has reason to be sketchy about unfamiliar things. He loves his meowmy, though, and is much braver if I am there to support him!

Bella isn't scared of anything. When I first brought her home, she was a bit nervous about how much taller I am, but she got over that when she realized that I'm the best meowmie ever.

Rowan is a bit scared when I carry large things around, like a chair, or when I move the ironing board.

And if the floorboards upstairs squeek especially loudly (I live in the basement of a house that was built in the '20's), they'll both look at where the sound is coming from, but I don't think that it actually scares them.

Sunday's not afraid of anything but I think that's because she's a little bit too sweet and dumb to pay attention to the world around her. She just sleeps a lot and eats (oh, and cuddles!!). Having said that, she's not too fond of the vacuum cleaner...lol.

Sashka is afraid of everything except climbing to impossibly terrifying heights and jumping full-bodied onto Sunday when she wants a wrestle. She also very brave around Ruby when Ruby is fast asleep.

Cairo is quite skittish and timid but actually a very brave cat. She doesn't like people much though - abused as a kitten.

Princess is the same as Cairo although she was never abused - she's just timid. And she only loves Max. She hates me and everyone else in the world - particularly me because I am Max's girlfriend. But she's coming round!

Mena is a bit neurotic (well, a lot!) but she is affectionate and sweet. They are all afraid of the vacuum cleaner!

Elmo is pretty much fearless. Every now and then he will get frightened by something random though.

Benja is my big fearless boy.

Sophie is my cheeky girl and only gets scared of the vacuum cleaner

Muffin is scared of absolutely anything, she's terrified

Holly is scared of herself falling off the bench. She's such a klutz!

Bridget is scared of her mother Sophie crashing into her while she's racing around the house

Sweety absolutely hates hair dryers! You can't even touch her for atleast 10 min. afterwards, she freaks! Otherwise, fearless with catitude!

Josie is afraid of loud and/or unexpected noises. I have an old house (built in the 20's) that has a funny quirk. The phone is wired up to an old fire alarm in the dining room. (The old lady who lived there before me must have been hard of hearing.) So, every time the phone rings, Josie bolts to another room, farthest from the noise.
