I had posted awhile back asking if Mama cat was negative for worms would the babies be, since I have always been told they get them from mom. I had her tested twice, once before the babies where born and then when the babies where about three week old, the fecal exam always came back negative.
The babies are ten weeks old so the vet gave me Strongid. Wow was I glad he did because I just cleaned out their litter box and one of them (not sure who ) passed ALOT of roundworms.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the babies can still have worms even though Mom doesn't.
Does anyone know how the babies can be positive
They are indoors and I clean the litter boxes twice a day, morning and night.
