I'm not quite sure but I think something is wrong with Molly. She started bleeding yesterday, and had been up and down earlier today. For the past about seven or eight hours she has been laying down not moving much. Not responding to my voice, I feel her and she is still breathing. When I hold her she seems not to move or want to get down. Her eyes also look different hard to describe. I called the vet and they said if she is still attacking werid bring her in, but I really don't have a good feeling about this. Molly is not moving, responding and I can't really feel anything moving in her belly anymore. Maybe I'm just overeacting but this is my baby girl and I'm afriad something might be wrong. Any suggestions or experiences?

Clarasmommy....if it were me, I'd take her in to the vet just to be on the safe side. I do hope all is ok.

Molly was in the bath tub and I went in to check on her and all of a sudden a yellowish (looks like human concentrated urine) came out. She started to perk up a little. I brought her in some cool water to drink and she started to drink. I shut off the light and turned off the tv to give her some privacy. I'll keep everyone posted.

Is there an emergency clinic you can call just to verify that she doesn't have to be seen?

Sounds like she needs the vet. Can you see her third eyelid? That's probably what you see and why her eyes look wierd.

Take her to the vet now. You will probably loose a kitten if you dont. Yellow pus is a serious indicator of problems.

Yesterday I took Molly to the vet, because she was laying around and bleeding. Right before we left she had a kitten on the floor. Sad to say it was premature and didn't make it. So I took her in and she had a high fever and was septic. They had to emergency surgery on her and they had to spay her. She is still not doing to good but she is moving around more. I do have one question is there any thing I can give her a bath with as soon as her stomach heals up, she smells terrible. We have been able to get some fluids down her and she has ate some. I pray that she gets better.

So sorry to hear things aren't going well. You did the right thing in taking her to the vet ASAP.

How long did the vet say that it would take for her stiches to heal?

I'm really sorry...but at least Molly is doing better. There are some wipes that you can buy at Petstores....I think those would be gentle enough to use on her.

I am so sorry to hear that. I hope she starts to feel better soon. No idea on the bath thing though. I would call the vet and ask them. They should be able to tell you for sure.

molly is doing better she is eating and starting to be loveable again. She isn't leaking anymore and she is back to sleeping by my daughters head. She lays on top of the pillow and puts one paw and her head on my daughters head. So shes starting to fill much better. Thank you everyone for answering my questions these past 2 weeks.

I think part of the smell is from her being sick. Once the infection begins to clear, she will probably smell better.

What a scary thing to have happen! Be sure she gets all of every dose of antibiotic to be sure the infection clears up.

Poor little thing - I'm glad she's better though. I think PetSmart has wipes that you can use in lieu of a bath. I thought about those myself because our kitten sometimes smells kind of bad!

Poor kitty.

As to cleaning her up, I'd suggest "cat wipes," which are basically moist towelettes with waterless cat shampoo. Cats tend to prefer them to actually getting wet. (And be sure to disinfect her suture area regularly.)
