I was just clipping Mabby's claws....with the abuse she has afflicted upon me it seemed like the wisest step.....

anyhoo as i clipped themshe made this sound....the most bizzare and strangest sound I have ever heard a cat make.....

she made the exact sound that Pac-Man makes when he gets captured by those ghost things.......
...i wish i had a sound byte for you all to hear....It was priceless......

YY - my Siamese- has a chrip chrip merwp sound that is similar to that. There are several variations though and I suspect she is a but frustrated at the fact Meomy is has not yet mastered the language of cat and her dialect in particular. (And we have had Siamese for generations in my family!!!)

Edgar used to cry like we were killin' him when we clipped his claws. Chirping, squirming, whatever he had to do to get away. At first I was thinking "am I doing something wrong," but as time passed I started to think it was kind of funny. He thought we were severely cramping his style! Which I guess we were, as he loved to bite and scratch ankles. He stopped all of that as he got older, but sometimes our big baby will still have a fit!

My Dads persian makes a huge wailing sound after he's eaten. He walks past my Dad, into the front hall, and wails at the top of his lungs - sounds like he's being strangled! Only does it after he's eaten, and for absolutely no reason we can fathom

I love the little clicking noise they make when they spy a bird or squirrel!

I know this sound! Sweety makes this sound right before she vomits fur balls! It's like "wahw-wahw-wahw" quickly, I think it is a frustration sound. Just keep huggin and telling her you love her and she will know your just helping her, they are happier when we are to!

Awww yes that's the cutest sound!!

Cairo does it when she's looking at birds through the window. She also can imitate about four different types of bird it is totally surreal I would never have believed it unless I'd seen it for myself.
