I get to pick up my first foster kitten at 2pm today (It's almost 10am here)!! I am soooo excited - lol wish I could just skip my last two classes today, but I'll be a good college student and go
.

I need name suggestions for the little one btw, so if anyone here can help there that would be great!

Just thought I'd share my joy and excitement with you all.

*****UPDATE*****
She's here! I am now the proud foster mom of a 3 or 4 week old black DSH female kitten. I'll start another thread with pics and a call for name suggestions, but I thought I'd post an update here too.

I'm so happy that you're fostering a kitten! That'll give the baby such a better chance of being adopted.

I'll suggest some names if you post up a pic when you get for him/her!

Aww...I'm jealous. Hubby won't let me foster, but I'm still trying to talk him into it. Glad you get to do this! Give us a picture when you bring kitty home for some help with names!

I foster kitties and I love it. It is really hard when they get adopted though

You might want to let the kitten's personality or coloring give you the name . (The permanent adopters will probably change it.)
Last summer I fostered "Feisty" & "Dusty" (now "Chickpea" & Garbanzo"), "Misty" (now "Puppy") and "Mixty" (now "Beachball")
