Well they are checking her out but just seem curious more than any thing else. She seems to be taking it in stride but I am keeping her close and the boys at a distance.

I have been looking at her for the last month or so at the pet store just down the street but she was so pricey that I never really thought I could afford 1 but I was in there this morning and got to talking to the owner about her and then she pulled her out of her cage and she just climberd up on my shoukder and kind of snuggled in and well that was it, I was lost. She was orig. posted on the cage at 450 USD but we got to talking and I got her for $250 USD and I just caved in and brought her home.

She is stunning!

Will she be a talker? You can teacher her how to tattle on Rufus and Lukey when they do something bad

Great bird! I love sun conures. I used to have a jenday conure a long time ago. Was a super bird.
Of course that was before we bought our first bengal. I don't think birds and bengals would be a good match up.

Congrats on your new edition.

They say that Sun Conures arent taklers really as far as words go but they are very vocal and Sunrise all ready squawks when I leave the room. so she will want a lot of attention.

Yep, our sun has to be the center of everything. If she can't see what is going on she hollers. If she spots something in the back yard that should be there (rabbit, dog, etc) she sounds the alarm!

I have a question. I don't really know about birds and their prices but would you think 250 was a good price. Not that it matters as I just fell hard but I am curious .
