As most of you know I'm done with my job on September 30th. (YAY!!!)
There are three people (2 mgmt and one women) who will be qualifying for "retirement" benefits. There is a person in the office who wants everyone to chip in for "retirement" gifts she is a person who is relocating and has a good relationsip w/mgmt. These people would not be "retiring" if my branch office was not closing. This is out of 12 people and 3 are relocating, so 6 of us are "retiring" with the company too.
So the question is to chip in or get a gift on my own??
This of course doesn't count my supervisor who is in the same boat as myself!!

Opinions please.
