I'll move this to Care & Grooming.

I don't have any of those, but have heard both good and bad about the self cleaning litter boxes. I'm pretty sure I've only heard good things about the Litter Locker.

Yeah i was wondering because the litter box has to be rolled over for it to get the dirty litter out of the box.

The Litter Locker is great if you only have one or two cats. They say the refills last about a month with one cat, so if you have any more than that, you'll have to buy them more often.

As for the litter box. I don't have one, but am interested in hearing what others think of it too.

I have a friend who has that litter box and she loves it. I don't like enclosed boxes for my cat or else I'd get one...well, and if I didn't use Swheat Scoop because the clumps don't get hard.

I bought a litter locker and ended up throwing it away.

I have the self cleaning litter box, I don't care much for it. But I have high traffic litter boxes with a ton of cats coming around them. With 1 cat I would think it would be a great product with probably a bi-weekly cleaning.

How old are your cats? I've heard a lot of complaints that older cats won't use the self cleaner because they're afraid of it. So they might end up going in a shoe or the corner instead.

We have a Litter Locker (or as we like to call it the Kitty Diaper Genie) and think it's great. We only have one cat though.

my cat is really a kitten he is about 13 weeks old so im not too worried about him being scared of it im more worried about it making a mess or falling apart while i am trying to clean it out

Oh I have that litter box. We like it. It doesn't really leak litter... some does come out from time to time. But it's impossible to keep ALL litter in any litterbox as far as I can tell.

It has little snaps that you unsnap to clean and etc, and then click back closed when using. It doesn't fall apart.
