Someone replaced my husband with a pod-husband.

I've been down and out and realy depressed lately - the news about Katrina and the suffering of people and animals.
I desperatley wanted to do something. I wanted to adopt/foster a cat from Katrina, but various reasons (birds mainly) that it was best not to. So I will stick with donations for that.

Hubby told me that the happiest he has every seen me is when he suprised me with a kitten (Raven) for our anniversary - he just wants me to be happy.
Main thing is vetted.

I am going to the shelter tomorrow (we went today - but they were closed) and see if I can find a kitty that wants to call me Mom.

This is just wonderful! More proof - husbands can be all right! We are going to be getting our sixth, after we lost our sweet peanut. The more the merrier, and it is so good to give the love you have to one who needs it.

Believe me, a lot of love flows around our houses!
Hey - I think you live near me. I am around Cleveland...you too? NE Ohio got me thinking that.

yay! Congrats on your new furbaby! There's nothing like becoming a kittiesmomma for the FIFTH time!

I live way on the West/SW side of the Land of Cleves. It is so pretty out by Geauga...Good luck tomorrow!

Oh yes, we have five. Just lost our sixth, a little baby kitty (Peanut). Kind of hard to keep up on the cat hair and litter, but otherwise it's fabulous. We love furbabies, like, well, babies! We will probably eventually go up to six again, since we are finishing the basement... we were doing it for Peanut, but now since he's gone we'll have to see.

NOTE: When you start finishing the basement for your cats, you just might be going crazy!

Oh, you aren't far away either, are you? I work near Garfield. I'm in Lorain county in hicksville. But it's so peaceful out here.
