Is there any danger in this? She seems really healthy, I am quite sure she is pregnant because her nipples are enlarged and her belly looks quite plump. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks

She certainly could be but could you give some more information on this cat - is she yours, is she outdoor or indoor? Is she a stray or feral so htat is why she has had no shots? How old is she? How do you know she was the runt? Thanks

Roxy...best to ask your vet. Is there a way you can take her to be seen?

Also, if you need a low cost clinic for your she has her litter, weans them and is ready to be spayed, just click the link below and scroll down to your state:

My boyfriend had this cat before I met him, but she belongs to both of us now. She is an indoor cat but since we moved from an apartment to a house.. she escapes out the back door when she is in heat. We are both pretty broke, so we have never been able to get her spayed or get her shots done. We can tell she is a runt because she is smaller than regular cats. She is about 4 or 5 now, and as far as my boyfriend can remember she has never been sick. I dont think she has ever been to a vet. Here is a picture of her so you can see how small she is.

Roxybebe...may I suggest you contact one of the low cost clinics in your area and try to get her seen. Since she mated outdoors....there is no way to determine if the males carried a disease such as FIV/FELV...plus with her small size, she may run into issues with her delivery and it should be determined whether it is safe for her to even carry a litter.

Roxybebe...she does look bigger in that picture than in the first picture. Here's what I would recommend....contact the local vet office and explain your situation to them and see if they recommend you bring her in and approximately how much it will cost.

In the meantime, you should begin to save for her spay so you don't end up with her pregnant again. Most states have several low cost clinics and there are national programs with reduced fee certificates. If you need help locating the clinics in your state, let me know.

Yes she is probably pregnant... It doesn't take much
Talk to you vet and get her spayed and up to date on her vax as soon as you can!!! If she is getting out side those two things are the most important!!
