Tanisha Blevin, 5, holds the hand of fellow Hurricane Katrina victim Nita LaGarde, 105, as they are evacuated from the Convention Center in New Orleans, La., Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005. Hunderds of people waited several days to be evacuated. (AP Photo/Eric Gay)

I think this picture can teach alot to some people!
I think it is just BEAUTIFUL!

I saw this picture and I was extremely touched as well...several generations separate this young 'un and the older woman, yet it's completely natural for them to hold hands during this trying time. I believe the young girl is the daughter or grandaughter of the nurse who cares for the elderly woman. Thanks for posting this

It really shows the true meaning of us in times of need. Truely touching. I have been watching about Katrina and it's heartbreaking but it shows the love that we can share to one another in time of need. We really should be showing this love all the time, think of how the world would be like if we could.
