One of our cats (and I am assuming the youngest) has decided not to use the litter box. It happened the first time we discovered it....in the spare bedroom. WE never go in there...and when we did...someone used my $200 down mattress at the litter box. I threw it away, along with the futone mattress that was under it. I found out that since it was a feather mattress some cats will automaticlly use that. I thought the problem was over til I came home last night and all over the bean bag chair (in the same room) was now someones "litter box" and threw that away last night!

I dont know whats going on...i have a girl and boy cat...both fixed...and they always have clean litter boxes...is there something that should be done, anyone ever have this trouble...its like one of them is using the spare room as their litter!

This is getting expensive for you! I would suggest shutting the door when you're not there. They've obviously got it into their head that this is the place to go! The cat might start going somewhere else though too.

I would take the cats to the vet first off to be sure there isn't an underlying problem
