Hi everyone!

My husband and I are talking about taking a nice vacation next February or March. But we're not sure where we want to go. We would like it to be nicer than say a day trip to the beach but not extreemly expensive either.

So I figured I'd come on here and see if any TCSers have a good suggestion. We're open to anything right now. So does anyone have any ideas? Is it somewhere you've been or just heard good things about? Thanks for all your help!

What area are you coming from? That'll make a difference in my suggestions in order to keep your costs down.

Guess that would be a help huh? We live in Delaware. We're not opposed to flying althought the 'random frisking' thing doesn't sound enjoyable!

How long do you want to go for? Are you looking for warm weather?

We'd like to go at least a week and as far as the weather, we're open to anything, warm or cold although since it will be winter warm might feel better. But even still, curling up together in front of a fireplace sounds nice!

So is Hawaii too far????? Last time we went we rented condo's and the price was reasonable. Just depends what airport you are flying out of. Philly perhaps???

You could try to visit Japan in March so as to coincide with their cherry blossom festival. And of course you do not have to just watch the pretty pink flowers but you could do other stuff and the flowers just make it so much more pretty to take pictures and walk about.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! We could fly out of Philly or Baltimore. I've been to Cozumel when I was 17 and loved it so Mexico is something to think of. Hawaii sounds nice of course, and my sister just got back too. Japan I never thought of but thats a good idea. I'll look into whats to do around there.

Thanks for the suggestions again! Any more are still welcome!

How about Canada in mid winter?! You'd be surprised how much fun you can have. There's: dog sledding, cross country & downhill skiing, snowboarding, snow mobiling, snow this, snow that..... Hmmm, I'm thinking Hawaii sounds great!!

Have you ever been to Arizona? There are lots of things to see there. Sedona is beautiful, the Grand Canyon, etc. My DH and I went to Clearwater/Tampa, FL a couple of years ago and enjoyed that part of the state. Hawaii of course would be really fun!

Canada would be a great place to visit

Of course I'm biased too!!

I don't know about coming to visit my neck of the woods (a bit secluded) but I've been out to the east coast and I hear that Newfoundland is the place to be...or British Columbia for the skiing.

For a big trip, I've had friends that have been to Ireland and they said they loved it.
