We are the recent owners of a beautiful kitten. She is approximately 6 months old.
Just recently I noticed that she had a lot of fleas on her, so we purchased some flea spray. After we administered the spray we rinsed it off, but her fur still looked oily, so we gave her a bath with cat shampoo.

She was, of course not too happy with us, but made up quickly. My question is now we are noticing some serious nose dripping going on. Is this normal?
We love her dearly and of course are concerned. Anyone had the same problem?

Help

Do you have the AC on in your house? I have central AC in my apartment and when I turn it super cold, Oliver will sometimes get a runny nose (happens with my dog too - especially when she's riding in the car in the direct path of the AC flow).... if it keeps up, I would get her to the vet... she may have something as simple as an upper respiratory infection, but it could be worse... maybe she's just allergic to the products you used too... not to be gross, but is it like an icky, gooey, chunky kind of snot or just clear and runny? If it's gross, I say to the vet ASAP!

A general rule of thumb is to only use the products your vet has recommended. Maybe you can call your vet (if she has one already) and ask about her runny nose.
