Weird sucking

Hello. My 2 five or six month old kittens have this really weird habit of sucking on my favorite stuffed cat. It started with the younger kitten Asia, and then the older kitten Jenna started doing it. Whenever they suck, they start purring very loudly and kneading their paws on the stuffed cat. It's not a problem, I was just kind of wondering why they do it. Has anyone else heard of this?

Lots of cats do this - it is a comfort thing, sucking on stuffed toys, blankets, each other or their humans. My Ellie sucks on me whenever she can, and she is a year old now. If they are sucking on something that is expendable then I would let them do it.

They're just sucking on my stuffed cat. I don't mind actually...I think it's really cute. I have had to wash the cat more often though, because it starts to get kind of crunchy...haha.

My vet said it probably has to do with a cat being weaned too early. It's ok for them to do it and they may grow out of it. I also think it's pretty cute
