So we have found a new and very inexpensive cat toy......Bubbles...hee hee

When emmet was a little younger like 2 and doofus was new to our family he was about 8 months we got catnip bubbles.....The cats were absolutly terrified...so we put the bubbles away...

Yet the other day a friend of ours brought over a bottle of bubbles for the cats...I assumed it would be the same petrified reaction...........

First Mabby....she ran away in sheer terror...(which id funny because she isn't afraid of anything, but the vaccum)

Poppy seemed interested as long as she was at a safe distance

Doofus as long as his head was under something seemed to lose himself in them

And Emmet "king scardy cat" became infatuated with the bubbles....After seeing thier "flight pattern" he begain to hunt them. This bold action from thier cowardly leader prompted doofus and poppy to do the same thing.....

It took mabby a while......but i belive out of sheer embaressment for being afraid of something Emmet wasn't, she to joined in the fun..........

We wen through a bottle in less then 24 hours.....Emmet is still looking around for them....
..... I love them

Where did you find the catnip bubbles?

I think that my kittens would love bubbles, but I don't want them to be all covered in soap at the end.

You can find them in any pet store...The brand i got was Kookamunga.... they also have a brand of catnip treats, which Emmet adores. All Kookamunga products are in green packaging, so its easier for you to find them..........

I've never seen those before, but then, I've only been shopping for cats for a couple weeks.

I'm off to the pet store tomorrow, though, for more scratching stuff, so I'll look around.

Thanks for the idea and information!
