They are so neat even as kittens, I can't wait to see their personality and what they're capable of as adults! =)

Halfpint,

Wow, it sounds like you do such a great job for these cats that need our help, so thank you! =) I'm just starting to get into the feral TNR. I've been in touch w/ some local people and already talked to a few vets that are willing to volunteer some of their time to do altering of the ferals. I am really anxious and ready to go full speed ahead. I'm not necessarily looking forward to the heartache, it sounds like it can be very difficult.

I do wish you the best- I can't imagine having to let go- it sounds like you'll make the right decision, whether that be w/ you or some other good home. BTW- I'm so glad to hear your kitties are indoors!

I wouldn't have it any other way, alway's indoors, And yes rescue is tough on the heart so good luck to you. It took me a year to get all 16, everyday I would go and feed them in a busy shopping center parking lot, It's heart brakeing to see how many really need help. I had never done anything like it, and it can be very overwhelming when your Heart gets involved, Great Luck to you, see you on the forums

Ughh, I couldn't imagine seeing cats every day and not having the power to rescue them right then and there.

What did you do? How did you get them to your house?

I have a post going in the feral area.. maybe we could chat more there? =)

Thanks again.. and thank you for doing the wonderful work you do!

Awww, thanks! That's so nice!

Moose and Lily are awesome, thank you!
The poor kitties just had their first vet visit and Moose has had a temp (from the immunizations).. right around 102.3 so I've been having to keep a close eye on him.
I'm hoping by tomorrow he'll be back to normal.. for health's sake AND the fact he hasn't been too pleased w/ being violated by the thermometer.

I love your kitties too - they're so cute!

No it takes time for them to trust you enough to start trapping them, I rented humane traps, and my hubby built me a drop trap,
It took about 6 months before I started actually trapping and bringing them home, My hubby built me an out door enclouser, I brought them home in the traps 1 in each trap and it took about 2 weeks to get the first 11, then I got the last one this year, she wouldn't come around for awhile but I refused to give up on her, and when I did get her she had 5 little ones and was pregrant again, and I had to to the vet as soon as I could, it just takes patience and time.
you will need to keep them away from your family cats till you have them to the vet, I don't know what your plans are once you get them, if you are going to TNR or what. You will need traps and I imagne if you get ahold of the right people they can tell you where you can get them.
Hissy is a wealth of information as are many others on this forum.
