That is perfect- thank you! I'm going to do that right now. Mine were rescues so I did not care at all about show quality or anything, but it's always nice to hear people thinking your cat is a handsome one. =) I love all of mine.. even the one I say is the ugliest cat in the world. Ha, I call her my "folk art" cat. =) I love her to pieces.

Pics coming in a min (hopefully)...

Bengals do shed. It seems to depend on the type of food you feed them. Now that im feeding raw they shed way less then on a commercial diet.
Yes i's say he is worth 200 and then some!
That was actually going to be my next question for you-- raw food is a little extreme for me, and canned is expensive, but I naturally am not a big fan of shedding. Right now they're eating NutroMax kitten food- is there anything dry you've found reduces shedding?

I don't recommend dry food I don't think it's good for cats especially not bengals however if you simply must feed them dry I recommend you feeding them very high quality food that the main ingrediants are meat-not meat meal or meat by products. And with the least amount of carbs as possible. If I had to feed dry (which I never will again as I had too many health problems feeding commercial diet) i'd feed chicken soup for the cat lovers soul.
For kitten food believe it or not the purina formula one (kitten formula only) would be my next choice and it is not expensive.

Okay, lets see if I figured this out. =) THEN it's bed.. almost 2:30 am here! =) Have to get up at 7 w/ the baby (kiddie, not kittie). =)

First pic is Moose.. my male kitten..

Second is Lily, female (you can tell she doesn't have the clear markings right now like Moose does- from my amateur eyes can tell):

Here's another one of Moose I love- it's as though you can see the Leopard in him. He's called Moose because he is so lean, has really long legs - you can tell he's going to be a big boy. =)

Cute kitties. The second one look like she is a marble snow although her pattern has not come in yet.
Just a suggestion you can resize your images right in photobucket. It's hard to see the whole pic with them so large.

Ha, I'll leave that project for tomorrow.

Thanks! See I don't know too much about the patterns, I've done a lot of research and I thought they were both marbles although Moose shows some rosettes (spelling and/or correct term, not sure). I didn't take the pics to show their colors, so maybe tomorrow I can and you'll see a lot better what I'm talking about.

Have a good night!

My mother has a seal point lynx snow. Her markings were lighter when she was little, but as she's grown they have seriously darkened up. I liken her coloring to 'toasted marshmallow...white with blotches of dark tan. She's getting seriously dark on her points. Here are some shots of her, including with my mother's f3, so you can see the contrast in coloring.

This last one was of her first day at their house. It's not a very good picture, and she's all curled, but you can tell she was a bit lighter then.

Yes you have marbles. Marbles can show a small amount of rosetting especially on the hindquarters but genetically they are marble.

Yes sometimes they do darken up-some more then others. My mink snow that is registered as a silver sepia (but is really a seal mink) has a greyish white background color and has darkened up a bit too. Although I am very pleased still with the contrast between his markings and the background color. His points havent gotten too much darker either so im pleased about that.
It really depends on what type of snow you have and how high of quality the cat is. I have found that it also depends to a degree on the diet. He was much darker when I was feeding a commercial diet but after awhile on raw meat his background coat got lighter and his overall coat apperance just outstanding. This was an unexpected but wonderful side effect of changing to a more natural diet.

Someone asked for a better shot of Alcott's muzzle?

I wish he's get spots again so I can stop wondering if he's going to....

Think they'll come back? Does that ever happen in breeding? Since having him his stripes have darkened and extended a little, but I don't know about extending back to the way they were....

hmmm. that's tough. I've only heard of the spots getting darker with age and then the pattern fading after about 2 yrs. old. I think if they faded they will stay faded.

Ah well. He's a pretty boy nonetheless. Strange about the spots totally vanishing though. I'm thinking perhaps he's a bengal/lynxpoint siam cross? The older he gets the more I can tell he undoubtedly has the body of a bengal (he's HUGE for his age too) but the coloring...

Many bengals have siamese in thier bloodlines. Siamese cats were used to start some of the lines of bengals.

Alcott does too-- but he doesn't meow. EVER. Instead he makes what I call Yeti sounds...trills and chirps. But never meowing. I can always tell which cat is looking for me because London meows, and Alcott makes strange trilling sounds.
