My husband has me hooked - I am not a music person. Mig is good, but I think Suzie or Marty would be better.

We all watch it at our house.

Susie is the girlfriend of our friend's son, Sean, so naturally we are rooting for her.

My husband ("Bruce"
) plays in Sean's dad's band. I haven't met her myself but my husband has and says she is a really nice person and obviously very talented.

I don't really think they will choose a girl though, so I would like to see Mig win if it's a guy.

I haven't seen every show, but enough to have seen some really good performances. It's been enjoyable. Not sure who of the remaining that I'd like best.

I think JD is good, but he strikes me as someone who is really "full of himself" and that's a turn off for me.

I love that show!
I think Mig is the best for INXS, and he has a great attitude, but I think J.D. is HOT, a Canadian hottie at that.

For me that's a turn on.
Besides, most successful rock stars need to exude some kind of sex appeal. J.D. definitely doesn't lack in that department.

I don't think they'll pick a girl either.... But Suzie would be the one they pick if they did pick a girl. She's pretty amazing compared to the rest of the girls that were on the show.

I think it just HAS to be MIG!! He's australian AND he can kick some musical butt!

Also... the first 3 weeks i was actually rooting for JD. Then he got really BIG headed ... I was so sad to see Ty go. I think he had the strongest voice there... And Marty has to be the ultimate dark horse.

I heard about this show when I was traveling, although we don't get it here.

Am I the only one that thinks that it's a bit of a sell-out for INXS to try to get their new lead singer this way???

I think it is kind of a sell out in a way. BUT since i was never really into inxs it doesn't bother me too much. I bet there are some die hard hutchence fans that are pretty sore over the whole thing though...

Naw, I don't think they're "selling out". They were a big mainstream band anyway back in the 80's, particularly after a couple of singles from Listen Like Thieves made their way into the charts, and definitely after Kick came out.

Personally, I was into them back even before those albums -- they had a great single in 1984 from The Swing called "I Send a Message". I LOVED that song! I was about 12 at the time.
And I had a big crush on bespectacled Kirk Pengilly.
He still looks as outrageous as ever!

I was shocked to hear about Michael Hutchence's death, and it was just devastating. Although I don't think they can ever replace him, I like the fact that I can vote for who might be the new singer of the band, and all the remaining people have AMAZING voices.
I'm not into "reality television", but I'm really digging this show.

I definitely plan on seeing them when they do a show here in Toronto.

GO MIG!!!
