I've never caught myself doing it. I think a lot, but never actually talk to myself.

Me too....I don't anyone thinking I'm crazy!!
I spend the day talking to myself... all my problems, I literally talk them out... I sometimes imagine myself in situations... I sometimes do conversations on my own with a friend.... every time I plan on to tell someone something I spend hours rehearsing it.... and all my problems...
All of it while the cats are staring at me thinking I'm nuts.
All the time! But especially while I'm driving. I'm sure other drivers think I'm out of my tree.
But it does help me sort through stuff and identify my priorities and feelings. Answer? Often.
Yes, I carry on entire conversations with myself. It doesn't look nearly so weird any more since everyone is walking around talking into cell phone headsets. I wonder how many of them are really talking to themselves.
I carry on full conversations with myself too. I think it's a lot more common that we'd think. My Grandma evidently talked to herself all the time too...but she didn't have the cell phone to cover it up.Originally Posted by krazy kat2

Yes, I do talk to myself, I have whole conversations with myself and I also try and solve problems that way, as well as figuring out how to do something. I guess my best conversationist is me

I get people asking me what I said to them, and I have to admit I am jsut talking to myself. I get a lot of funny looks, but I reckon a lot more people do it than they would admit. Nothing wrong with it I say. At least I dont sign to myself LOL - that would look weirder!!

Not only do I talk to myself regularly, but I also do it in Chinese (not my native language by far
) I'll be walking down the street and mumble to myself in Chinese and English mixed.
I do expectally if when I'm driving on the interstate, to keep me awake half the time, or if I'm preparing for something like a class discussion or interview. It allows me to get my fusterations out before I'm put on the spot. I can also prepare myself for what may be asked and what my answers would be.

i talk to myself and don`t care who hears! You should see customers at the store I work at look at me sometimes, but I bet they talk to themselves, too. Usually I do this when I am disgruntled about something at work and it seems to simmer me down if I complain to myself about it.
