OMG! I just heard Xmas music!!

It's almost 90 degrees outside, the 2nd of September, and there was just a commercial on with CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!! AAAAARRRGGG!!!

It was for Gart Bros' SNIAGRAB (bargains spelled backward) which is their big kickoff sale for winter sports gear. I realize it wasn't really a Christmas commercial, and Jingle Bells does bring snow to mind...but still! It's too early for that!!!!!

That's what I didn't like about working for Hallmark....the ornaments come out in like July! But of course we'd been hearing about them since May!

Yeah, they will have Christmas in full swing in stores by next month here as well. Actually, I have to admit...we already checked out the ornaments at Hallmark, and we went to Michael's last weekend to look at the Christmas Village stull.
I love Christmas too, it just threw me off SO BAD to hear that music already!

That is one thing i will not miss about working in an office-getting subjected to Christmas music for 9 hrs a day

That reminds me, actually! I was in the Trafford Centre and Selfridges (department store) Has removed the big book department and replaced it with....The Christmas Shop!!!! They have lots of trees and ornaments - it's crazy!!!

haha, halloween stuff is already out for kids here, its boring so i never go past it.. but i suppose xmas stuff will come out next month too because bens mum already has orders to stock them up in 2 weeks time.

Actually I heard a commercial playing Christmas music 2 weeks ago!


The store was advertising big sales that will be happening on Labour Day and they said it would be a good time to also buy items for Christmas because it's only 4 months away. Ick, don't want to think of the cold and snow quite yet since there will be plenty of time for that!
