wont eat dry food anymore

My three year old male tabby has stopped eating dry cat food. I used to give him two meals during the day of dry mix consisting of iams adult and adult science diet and then at night give him a wet fancy feast. However within the last week he refuses to eat the dry food and only eats the wet food at night. This results in him losing weight now. What should I do?

What brand of dry food were you feeding?

My vet told me not to feed Bijou Fancy Feast - she said she treats more cats for crystals when they are fed Fancy Feast.

Try a non chn based food and mix them... I would look at Nutro ... no by products , grd corn or chem pres...
