Hey all!
Well, we FINALLY got our DSL up and running today, so we're back, after what was a long and draining moving process! We moved all our boxes last Friday, our furniture was moved on Saturday, and Sunday through yesterday was spent unpacking and buying new furniture for the new house, not to mention scary amounts of things at Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, etc. Its amazing how much crap one family needs to survive!!!
Sometime soon I'll get you pictures of the kitties in the new house. Oliver adapted very quickly, and loves running up and down the stairs. He's even explored our finished basement. Emma is still a little wary--she spent an extra day in the "cat room" because when she first wanted to come out she basically had a nervous breakdown and started howling at Oliver from under the bed. She's now very comofrtable with the top floor, where the master bedroom and the cat room are, as well as our office, and will explore the ground floor (kitchen, living room) without much trepidation--but she hasn't quite worked up the courage to tackle the finished basement, which I'm sure she will, eventually. She's still a little grumpy and will occasionally growl at Oliver if he gets too in-her-face, so we've nicknamed her Grumpy Gus for now!
Hope all are well, I'm going to try to go catch up now!
Julianna, Oliver and Emma
