Dearest Butch, today is the first anniversary of your going to the bridge. I still miss you so much. I wish that I could hold and cuddle you once more, feel the softness of your fur and hear your purrs as I stroked you. I can hardly believe a year has passed since you left me. Sometimes I still forget that you are gone, catch myself listening for your meow or think that I feel you brush against my leg for a pet. I will never forget you, precious one. And no other will take your place in my heart. Play and be happy at the bridge until we can be together once more and remember that although we are no longer together I still and will ALWAYS love you. They broke the mold when they made you Butch, and I know how lucky I was to have you in my life. Thank you for being my friend. I miss you........
